The 8th grade students visited the Yaquis Museum and the Yo’o Joara Sanctuary located in Cócorit, Sonora as part of the evaluation of Unit 2 of the subject Individuals and Societies (History 2), “Indigenous People of Current Mexico” with the purpose of understanding the cosmovision of the Yaqui Culture, its origins and the importance of its prevalence in today’s society, as well as strengthening the attributes of solidarity, integrity and reflection.
