Casc Activities
It was the summative evaluation week where we carried out learning experiences regarding the following topics seen in class.
– Patterns: students learned that patterns are sequences that are repeated or happen more than once and can be with colors, geometric figures or any object.
– Numerical sequence from 1 to 12: the students learned to recognize, mention and identify the numbers from 1 to 12 and we worked them with numerical sequences using legos, where they had previously been traced, were mixed and the students had to arrange them in order.
– Missing number: we worked the numbers from 1 to 12 and the students had to identify which number was needed in the sequence.
– Language: we worked on the Long and short concepts, where the students had to identify which strips belonged to the shorter section and which to longer.
– Language: we work with vocabulary words referring to the weather, the students identify which objects or clothing belonged to the hot climate and which to the cold climate, they mentioned the name and then classified it in the correct category.
– Reflection sheet: the students drew what they liked best about the unit of inquiry, in this case they mentioned that they should carry out the lava lamp experiment, cook the skewers and carry out the magic milk experiment.
In the next section they drew what they learned, most of them put the numbers 1-15, the geometric figures, the patterns and the senses. And to finish they colored how they felt in this unit (happy face, sad face and displeased face), everyone colored the happy face.

Fue la semana de evaluación sumativa donde realizamos experiencias de aprendizaje referente a los siguientes temas vistos en clase.
– Patrones: los alumnos aprendieron que los patrones son secuencias que se repiten o pasan más de una vez y pueden ser con colores, figuras geométricas o cualquier objeto.
– Secuencia numérica del 1 al 12 : los alumnos aprendieron a reconocer, mencionar e identificar los números del 1 al 12 y los trabajamos con secuencias numéricas utilizando legos, donde venían previamente trazados, se mezclaban y los alumnos debían acomodarlos en orden.
– Missing number: trabajamos los números del 1 al 12 y los alumnos debían identificar qué número se la secuencia hacía falta.
– Lengua: trabajamos los conceptos Long and short, donde los alumnos debían identificar que tiras pertenecían a la sección de shorter y cuales a longer.
– Lengua: trabajamos con palabras de vocabulario haciendo referencia al clima, los alumnos identifican que objetos o prendas pertenecían al clima caluroso y cuales al clima frío, mencionaban el nombre y después lo clasificaban en la categoría correcta.
– Hoja de reflexión: los alumnos dibujaron qué fue lo que mas les gusto de la unidad de indagación, en este caso mencionaron que realizar el experimento de la lámpara de lava, cocinar las brochetas y realizar el experimento magic milk.
En la siguiente sección dibujaban que aprendieron, la mayoría puso los números del 1-15, las figuras geométricas, los patrones y los sentidos. Y para finalizar coloreaban cómo se sintieron en esta unidad ( carita feliz, carita triste y carita de desagrado), todos colorearon la carita feliz.
